Recently a node from US. California caught attentions of the community.It is a sign that ChainX set foot on the North Africa. Angel is running nodes for various hight profile and have network Admins located in Germany, Singapore and US that provides 24 hour coverage and monitoring of the nodes. ! let’s get to know them from the following brief interview!
1.Could you talk about your background first?
Got in to Bitcoin starting in early 2013. Was primarily mining BTC and other alts with some trading. But now mostly trade and stake by running nodes for various high profile projects, including LISK, Tazos, Cosmos, ARDR, WAVES, NANO etc, also run various Masternode and standard PoS nodes for over 25+ projects. In a nutshell, it’s an inhouse Staking as a service. We also endorse and promote all projects that we run nodes for.
I have a team of network Admins located in Germany, Singapore and US that provides 24 hour coverage and monitoring of our nodes.
I am also the CEO SaluS (SLS) coin (listed on Bittrex) and co-founder of https://www.coinbargroup.com/ .
Currently developing a Digital Asset Management platform which should release the first public beta by the end of the month.
2. How and when did you learn about ChainX?What factors were the basis of your decision to become ChainX Node ?
One of my guys brought ChainX to my attention since he knows how much i love staking :) .
After some light research, I found many aspects of ChainX interesting and unique, like locking and staking, 0 fees, multi chain asset support and DEX and most importantly, and the overall incentive game theory. Also like the projects connection with Polkadot which is a project that was also a seed investor of and intent to fully support.
ChainX at first glance looked to be very thought out and solid projects, and the more I researched it, the more I was sold on its concept. Hence why I was motivated to accumulate enough to become a Validator which gives me an incentive to publicly support and promote this project.
3. US. California is a great place , could you talk about the environment of the block chain and cryptocurrency in your country ( the policy ，the leading area in block chain , what people focus on, the attitude of people towards the black chain and crypto currency etc.)
California has a lot of active meetups for crypto related projects, people are active and energized even during the bear market, though we had way more people during our meetups in 2017 vs now, I guess the ones that stopped coming were mostly in to the “get rich quick” hype of crypto :/
The State has been friendly towards crypto, but more like its not even on their radar to care at this point or even create policies around them, all they care for is that you pay your taxes on any gains :D
4.How will you carry out the work as a node?
My team and I intend to keep a healthy node, by trying to have a maximum uptime on a beefy and fast servers with minimum latency. We also create redundancy for critical nodes to have as minimum downtime as possible. And with our around the clock coverage, someone is always ready to take action when needed.
5.Do need support from the ChainX team? how could ChainX help?
The only support/help we would look for from the ChainX team your endorsement for our Validator in order to bring more awareness and trust, which would help us get additional votes in order to maintain our position within the top 30 Validators. And maybe a vote from the team as well, if that’s possible to avoid getting knocked out from a rogue validator since we are on the edge.
Other than that, we are excited for this project and are looking forward to working with you and supporting where we can. Also open to coordinating on any promotional efforts.
